How to UNLOCK your Samsung Corby 2
For Phone Technicians, do the following steps:
Tools needed:
Z3X Box for Samsung
USB Cable (5310)
USB Driver: Download and install KIES software.
NOTE: Connect USB and power on the phone (normal mode)
PROCEDURE:
Open Samsung 2G Tools V 3.4.0024
Click Read Info (wait for the codes)
Enter the Net Lock to the phone
Done
Or you can try the manual unlock method. Here's the steps:
First, check your lock status using this code *#7465625#
You will see something like this:
[ON] Network Lock
[OFF] Subset Lock
[OFF] SP Lock
[OFF] CP Lock
Click the rectangular box on the lower portion to return to the home screen then proceed to the next step.
Type this code to change the Network Lock status #7465625*638*00000000#. That's 8 zero's.
You will see a notification that the Network is now turned off.
Type *#7465625# again and you'll see it's now changed.
You will see something like this:
[OFF] Network Lock
[OFF] Subset Lock
[OFF] SP Lock
[OFF] CP Lock
Now power off your phone and insert another sim.
Done.
HOW TO NETWORK RELOCK THE PHONE: Use the following code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000
If you can't follow the above steps, here's another step on unlocking the network of your phone.
To UNLOCK the phone, you have to put a other network sim which is not default provider for the phone. Like if it supports SUN then try another sim company like SMART or GLOBE.
Now type this in your phone, *#9998*3323# and this will reset the phone and push exit and then press 7.
It will reset again and now put your other sim in it and it will show you as sim lock, now press 00000000 (8 zeros) then it should be unlocked.
Now type *0141# and press the call button (green button) and now its unlocked to all networks.
Maximum this process will work for you and it wont work in old phones of Samsung so don't waste your time unlocking them.
REMINDER: Do this with your own risks.

ReplyDeleteI always prefer that unlocking a mobile phone using unlock code is the safest way. I too unlocked my Samsung phone using unlock code only. I got the unlock code for my Samsung phone from Unlocking4U.Com at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide.
